The Javelina Explorers Travel Program is unique due to its faculty-led approach, guided by Regents Professor Emeritus, Dr. Nirmal Goswami. Originally from Assam, India, Dr. Goswami's passion for global travel is evident as he weaves history, global political movements, and world economics into the travel experience.

During his time at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Dr. Goswami served as the Director of the International Studies Minor and frequently organized global programs for students, with destinations spanning Africa, Asia, and New Zealand. Through his extensive international connections, he has created valuable opportunities for Javelina alumni and friends to engage in immersive travel experiences.
