Meet Bianca Abrego, a proud Javelina whose journey is rooted in determination, resilience, and community. Bianca graduated from Texas A&M–Kingsville in 2013 with a double major in Business Marketing and Management and a minor in Graphic Design, later earning her MBA in 2015.
Today, she brings more than 12 years of telecom experience to her role as a Mid-Market Major Account Executive at T-Mobile, overseeing accounts across South and Central Texas. Her passion for communication and helping people stay connected has shaped a career built on consistency, strong relationships, and a drive to grow.
One of Bianca’s most meaningful and celebrated accomplishments is co-authoring a bilingual children’s book with her daughter, Milanya. A vibrant English/Spanish color-learning book now available on Amazon and in local San Antonio shops. While she is also a devoted wife to her husband, Juan, and mother of three, this project holds a special place in her heart as a beautiful blend of family, culture, and creativity. It represents not only a milestone as an author, but a legacy she is proud to share with her community.
Her time at TAMUK, especially her sisterhood in Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc., played a transformative role in her life. Late-night study sessions, service projects, and leadership roles helped shape her confidence, values, and professional foundation. The mentorship, community, and support she found at TAMUK gave her the courage to pursue her MBA, excel in her career, and lead with integrity.
Her advice to current students:
“Embrace every opportunity, inside and outside the classroom. Get involved, step into leadership, build relationships that last, and never shy away from challenges. You have everything it takes so believe in yourself.”
